Project Overview
Commissioned by Water Corporation, the Onslow Transfer Main project involved the supply and installation of approximately 2,479m DN200 MPVC. The scope included:
- DN500 Jacking Pipe installed under three roads, with DN200 MSCL grouted within
- Connection to Onslow Water Tanks, leaving the pipeline capped at the proposed Desalination Plant
Outcome
- Project completed ahead of PC schedule
- Site safety incidents highlighted the need for better work front management
- Improved tracking and variation notification required for future projects
- Identified process gaps for future cost control improvements
